Twenty-four hardworking antique sellers have been assembled under one roof to bring you this very genuine and sometimes quirky slice of American culture and history.” —Uncommon Objects
The challenge for this project was creating a unique online shopping interface that reflects Uncommon Objects’ in-person experience. In order to include their many oddities and unique personality, we wanted to embellish their site while maintaining a user-centered design.
Something Unexpected
This ambient ad fosters the spirit and ethos of Uncommon Objects by showcasing the beauty in the unexpected.
By taking mundane housewares into a new environment, like an airport, it elevates the object as a work of art, and inspires new ways to think about how we use and display our own possessions.
